Aloha Oden Family!!!

We picked up the Brittney and Bennett and Kyle last Wednesday. It has been about six months since our last guests were here, we were excited see some of our friends again.

Sea Life Park

The other day we went to the Sea Life Park with the Oden family. If you have seen 50 First Dates, this is where Adam Sandlers character works.
Kip decided to show Maylani the turtles and as they were about to walk away her little hat fell off and the turtle was way excited to have a snack. Luckily Kip got out her hat in time without his hand and the hat being nibbled on.
We were checking out a big aquarium with alot of fish, a couple of shark and turtles. Maylani loved it until a big fish swam by the glass. She started whining and backing up from the glass.. she wasn't so sure about the fish after that.

Sting Rae Encounter

Kip tries to take Jenna out once a month on a "daddy-daughter-date". For this date, since we were there with the Oden's, Kip signed him and Jenna up to swim with sting raes. As you can tell, Jenna was a little hesitant to get in the water. But after a while she loosened up and had a great time.
Kip and Jenna also got the opportunity to feed the raes squid. Jenna had a blast doing that. There was a shark in the pool with the sting raes and other fish. Jenna didn't find that out until they were out of the pool.

Baby friends.

This is Maylani's little friend, Mia. Mia is 6 months older than Maylani. My friend Jenn and I have been waiting for the day that Maylani was old enough to play with Mia. They were having a blast that day together. Their older siblings were gone and the babies were free to play together without being bossed around, ha ha. Both little ladies have somethings in common, they both have some hawaiian and Japanese. Mia is part howlie, and the only howlie about Maylani is her last name.

Memories

Princess in my dress.
The other day Jenna was asking me alot of questions about our wedding day. I decided to pull out my dress and vail to show Jenna. She really wanted to put it on. So took pictures. She looked so funny, obviously the dress was way too big on her but she was calling herself a princess. So cute!!! I tried it on again for old time sakes and surprisingly it fit, of course a little tighter considering I weight 23 lbs more than the day I got married.

Mothers Day!

It is mother's day once again. Our's will be a quiet one, Kip has to work. We are a really nice breakfast yesterday that our ward put on. Kip was also working for that one. But the girls and I had a good time. Jenna's headstart class made present for the mom's, flowers with a picture of the kid in the middle. It hangs on the frig with a notepad atteched to it. I love it! It is so fun to see her grow up. Little things like that are priceless.
